The normal
arrival day is Saturday,
but for lets of longer than 14 days this is negotiable.
Booking arrangements
Once you contact us and make a booking we
will send you our simple booking form, and ask you for a
20% deposit to confirm the reservation.
The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
This deposit is refundable by us in some circumstances, but
we recommend that once you have paid the deposit you consider
taking out insurance against having to cancel the arrangements
for any reason.
A security deposit for Le Beffroi of £250
is required before arrival, and is returned to you, less
any breakages or damage.
A security deposit for Le Puech Haut of £500
is required before arrival, and is returned to you, less
any breakages or damage.
Please note, there is also a tourist tax (payable in Euros) of 1€ per person per day which we have to charge by French law. Please pay this in advance upon your arrival.
Other Info
Heating
The main house has full oil fired central heating, and Le Beffroi full under-floor electric heating for those occasional chilly evenings in early spring and late autumn. For winter lets we make a separate charge for heating. Our managers will ensure that everything is set to your liking.
Cleaning
When the whole property is let, a morning housekeeping service is provided by our managers five days a week . This involves cleaning each downstairs room as necessary and each bedroom room twice a week and changing towels and bedlinen weekly, but does not include daily bedmaking or washing up.
Cooking
With advance notice, dinner can be prepared and served for you at 8.30pm, with menus chosen from a selection of local produce. Our managers would normally prepare a starter and main course for you to serve, and then go off duty. The menus and charges for this service are arranged directly with our managers; please give them as much notice as possible.
Towels and linen
For both the main house and the guesthouse, bed linen is provided but not baby cot linen. Hand and bath towels are supplied. Pool beach towels are supplied when the whole property is let.
Suitability for children and
teenagers:
The property is suitable for children, although we do not encourage children under five as we have had to charge guests for replacing spoiled items such as mats and rugs.
Night Life: Other than driving 30 minutes to Toulouse, and the several good local restaurants, the area is weak on night-time after-dinner amusement, so is not very suitable for teenagers who might want to go out clubbing every night.
